There is an NGo called Open Learning Exchange. Website: http://www.olenepal.org which is developing distance learning and is also initiating OLPC - one laptop per child program.; ▶ Reply to This

Permalink Reply by Toru Mino on November 2, 2008 at 5:44am: hey jenara, sorry if you are looking only for nepali based organizations, but i've been looking at BracNet in Bangladesh that is a WiMAX based ISP. they have an internet kiosk program to connect low-income users to the internet as well as some programs in the works to connect Brac run schools as well as use video conferencing for telemedicine purposes.
