What are your interests within business and international development?
At present i am working with SNV Nepal as Portfolio Coordinator. My work is mainly centered in private sector development as a driver for poverty alleviation. Using Inclusive Business approach we are facilitating the participation of BoP segements in profitable business initiatives as service providers, distributors or consumers in a wide range of sector (tourism, agriculture, forestry and renewble energy)
What are your current or past work affiliations? (i.e. Organizations you have worked for)
I have gained over 10 years experience in the private sector in Spain. During that period I held different positions from sales manager to marketing director in three different companies that operated business in sectors ranging from animal foodstuff (Gallina Blanca & Ralston Purina Int) production to wine (Dream Fruits) and jam retail market. In 2001 I made a significant career shift when I moved to Honduras to work as economic growth advisor with the Spanish Red Cross. Afterwards, I was engaged in humanitarian work in Sudan and Colombia, working for three years with the International Committee of the Red Cross.
What are your current or past affiliations with Institutions of Education? (i.e. Degrees, Schools, and dates)
I obtained her veterinary surgeon degree in Universidad Autonoma (Barcelona, Spain) in 1991 and the following year a postgraduate in fish pathology in Universite de Breatgne Occidentale, (Brest, France). I also hold an MBA from EAE Business Administration School from Barcelona Spain.
